The Friends of the NSGSO and NSGCB is free to join and is a community of family, friends, supporters and alumni of the Symphony Orchestra and Concert Band. By signing up to our mailing list, you will receive termly newsletters updating you on this year’s course, as well as advance notice of ticket sales, enabling you to be first in line for our concerts!
Since the relaunch of Friends in January 2020, we have expanded our network to reach many new supporters and alumni from recent and slightly more distant years of the course! Not only have we been able to share updates from the staff team on the preparation for our upcoming events, but we have also been in contact with several alumni sharing their photos and memories from their experiences as a member of the NSGSO or NSGCB.
If you would like to join our Friends community to be kept informed of our current events or perhaps reconnect with us after playing with our Symphony Orchestra or Concert Band in the past, please fill in your details below. There is no cost to join.
Archives Project
As part of our anniversary celebrations in 2025, we are putting together an archives book to commemorate the last 50 years of the NSGSO and 10 years of the current NSGCB. We would like to hear from you to help us put this together.
If you have any photos, programmes, posters or concert recordings from previous NSGSO/NSGCB courses, please share them with us by uploading them to archives.nsgso-nsgcb.com
We would also like to hear your stories from your experiences in the NSGSO and NSGCB. Please answer one of the questions on this form to have your stories included in our archives book.
For any queries relating to our archives and alumni, please contact us at [email protected]
